The International College Holding 2018 Commencement Ceremony

On the afternoon of June 28, the International College held the commencement ceremony for 2018 undergraduate students in the auditorium of Jiaoqiaoyuan north campus. President Lu Fucai, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the College Jiang Jingfa, Vice President Liu Xiaoli, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee of the University Yang Jianlin, Vice President Wang Xiaoping, persons in charge of Propaganda Department, Student Affairs Department, Youth League Committee of the University, Dean’s Office, International Cooperation and Exchange Department, Enrollment and Employment Department, University Students Career Development Facilitation Center, Mental Health Education and Counseling Center, School of Accounting, School of International Economy and Trade and School of Finance, persons in charge of Party and Government Affairs and all the staff of the International College, class advisers of 2018 graduating classes, parents’ representatives, teachers’ representatives and 2018 graduating students gathered together, jointly witnessed the 2018 graduating students of the International College to chase for a new chapter of life.

In the thunderous applause, President Lu Fucai issued Certificate of Honor to excellent graduating students. President Lu fully affirmed the outstanding contribution of the International College in the university-wide international education exploration and practice, and took “fighting” as theme to encourage all the international students to achieve “perseverant pursuit”, “self-bearing courage” and “practical and earnest deed”. In the end, President Lu sent words to the students to blossom their youth in the vivid practice of realizing Chinese Dream, and achieve a brilliant life with unremitting efforts! In the ceremony, President Lu took photos with every graduating student, hands shaking, smiling, group photos……becoming unforgettable memory for the students.

In the eager expecting of all the graduating students, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the College Jiang Jingfa and Vice President Liu Xiaoli awarded Certificate of Honor to the representatives of winners of overseas education scholarship of the International College, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee of the University Yang Jianlin issued alumni cards to international students, and Vice President Wang Xiaoping read the list of the International College students conferred degree.

In the ceremony, representatives of graduating students walked the red carpet with their favorite teachers, class advisers and parents’ representatives, all the graduating students expressed their sincerest gratitude with prolonged applause and hurrah. Vice President Wang Xiaoping awarded Certificate of Honor for “2018 My Favorite Teacher of the International College”, and Dean of the International College Yang Hui awarded Certificate of Honor for “2018 Graduating Class Advisers of the International College”.

Student Party Member and Student Care Yang Jun, as the representative of graduating students, made a speech, he verified the strength of JUFE International for “rooting in China, marching towards the world” with his own experience of studying abroad in the UK. During the speech, he shared his four-year life in JUFE from the earliest days in JUFE as a freshman with enthusiasm to the current self confidence and fruitful achievements.

“I have a healthy body, I have a clear heart, I have a noble ideal, and I also have a fighting spirit……” At the end of the ceremony, with the rhythm of school song, all the teachers and students sang the song passionately, demonstrating all the graduating students’ self confidence for their future and their pride as a member of the International College of JUFE.
